Our 150D Polyester oxford fabric, minimatt fabric is woven from 150D yarn in a plain weave, with 119T yarns per inch, and has the following characteristics:
I) Excellent Elasticity & Bulkiness:
Woven with Draw Textured Yarn (DTY), the fabric offers good elastic recovery, a full and bulky hand feel, and superior wrinkle resistance compared to fully drawn yarn or filament yarn.
II) High Strength and Abrasion Resistance:
The 150D yarn ensures the basic strength of the fabric and, combined with a plain weave structure, provides excellent abrasion resistance.
III) Waterproof:
The PU coating forms a continuous film on the fabric surface, providing excellent hydrostatic resistance and effectively preventing rainwater penetration.
IV) Light and soft texture:
Among fabrics of the same strength, it is relatively lightweight, has a soft feel, and is easy to cut, sew, and fold.
V) Dimensional Stability:
Low moisture absorption of polyester DTY, coupled with the setting effect of the coating, provides the finished fabric with excellent dimensional stability, minimizing shrinkage and distortion.

Q: How waterproof is 150D?
A: 150D polyester with a PU coating is inherently water-resistant due to the high density of the fabric's structure, and the PU coating can prevent light rain from penetrating. However, it cannot withstand heavy rain. If such requirements are needed, customized waterproofing and water pressure resistance are necessary.
Q: 150D VS 210D
A: 210D is made of long-filament yarn, giving it a glossy finish, but it is not easily dyed. 150D is made of low-elasticity yarn, giving it a matte finish, and it is more durable than 210D, with better strength and tear resistance.
